The Casper Original is its flagship mattress and it is one of the most loved. The Casper Original measures 12 inches in height and offers a medium-firm level of comfort that most people will love. The queen-sized variant of the Casper Original costs $1,295, which is much pricier than the Bear mattress at $998. Casper offers a 10-year warranty for its bestsellers and a 100-night trial period.
Similarities
Both the Casper and Bear mattresses offer stellar cooling abilities from the get-go. Only the difference between the two mattresses is in how they do it. Casper uses its AirScape technology to allow airflow. Bear uses open-cell foam, graphite gel infusion and Celliant bed covers to neutralize body temperature while it sleeps. While we can appreciate its endless possibilities, it’s hard to ignore the price tag – the Purple is more expensive than the Bear mattress by around $300.

We noticed that many of the characteristics of this mattress are very similar to those found in the Bear Original. Although we may have saved the closest competitor, we still appreciate what we found. We’ll be going through every detail very soon.
Similarities
First, let’s talk about the price: a Queen-sized variant of the Nectar mattress costs only $799. If you compare this price tag to the Bear mattress, you’ll notice the smaller difference between the two. While our previous beds cost hundreds of dollars higher, the Nectar only has a $50 difference.
