Firmness
We use a scale of 1-10 to rank mattresses. One is super soft, five are medium and ten are extremely firm. We can confidently state that the Bear Original’s comfort level is medium to firm based on what we discovered while testing it. 7 to be exact.

Temperature
The Bear mattress is made up of open-cell foam, gel fusion and Celliant fabric. This combination helps to keep the body from overheating. All-foam mattresses may be known for not having the best insulation, but this one performed surprisingly well in maintaining the temperature, at least to a neutral level – not too hot yet not too cold.

In the case of heavyweight sleepers, however, the Bear may not work well in their favor. This position is comfortable for both average and light-weighted people. They may initially find the Bear to be supportive enough for their stomachs. The mattress is all foam, so sinkage and softness may be inevitable. For heavyweight individuals, sleeping on the Bear with their stomachs laid flat on the surface will not bring them the benefits they crave. On the Sides
Similar to laying flat on the stomach, how the Bear feels on the person while sleeping on either side will depend on personal circumstances.
