To answer these pressing questions, we tested the Bear mattress based on its firmness, pressure relief performance, and cooling capabilities.
Firmness
We use a scale of 1-10 to rank mattresses. One is super soft, five are medium and ten are extremely firm. We can confidently state that the Bear Original’s comfort level is medium to firm based on what we discovered while testing it. 7, to be exact.
The Bear company has advertised its namesake mattress to be medium-firm, so at least they were accurate in providing that information. The overall construction is still sturdy and stable despite the fact that memory foam has been praised for its ability to sink into the body. Placing that material under the memory foam gives this mattress more positives.
