Description:

The 100% natural Merino Kids Baby Sleep Bag is the world's finest baby sleep sack. Its remarkable natural merino fabric and award-winning design help your baby to sleep safely through the night.

Crafted from superfine allergy-safe merino wool, the Merino Kids baby sleep sack is luxuriously soft and light upon your baby's body. It fits babies safely up to two years and its quality workmanship guarantees years of wear.

Babies can take as long as a year to develop the full capability to regulate their own body temperature, which is why they often wake too hot or too cold. Only merino fabric has the remarkable natural ability to regulate body temperature and the Merino Kids baby sleep sack is ideal all-year-round for nursery room temperatures from 64°F to 75°F. It captures and circulates air to insulate your baby when the room temperature falls, and releases excess body heat and moisture as the room temperature rises, to create the perfect safe micro-climate around their body.

Your baby has the freedom to move naturally in their Merino Kids baby sleep sack but they cannot slip underneath, nor wriggle out and wake uncovered and cold, as can happen with blankets. Parents get a good night's sleep with the peace of mind that their baby won't get too cold or too hot and their baby's head won't get covered.

Reduces certain SIDS risk factors: promotes back sleeping; sleeveless for better air circulation; fabric stays clear of baby's face; reduced risk of overheating due to merino's natural body temperature-regulating capability.

The innovative safety belt aperture allows the sleep sack to be worn safely in car or stroller, making it easy to transfer them asleep to and from their crib.

100% natural long staple cotton outer layer for extra durability. Opens up flat for easy dressing. Unzips from the bottom for quick diaper changes.

Free matching travel bag included. Machine washable. Can be tumble-dried. Contains no polyester. Naturally fire resistant.

4Nice bagJan 10, 2010
This is a nice bag. The way it zippers is really handy as I can snap and zip her in after I put her down. I wish I would have gotten the thicker one as I wonder if it's really enough at 65. The length is great as I know she will fit it for a long while. I would love it more if it were organic. For a newborn, I would buy one of the all merino wool bags. Just couldn't find any long enough for my baby now. Started using at 7 months. Will most likely buy next size when she grows out of this one.

2Overpriced and travel pocket has design flawDec 23, 2009
I liked the idea of my son sleeping in merino wool, but when I purchased this product I was disappointed how thin the merino wool layer is (you can see through it). For this price tag $120, I was expecting a thicker wool product. Even the winter version doesn't have more merino, just additional layer of cotton. If I wanted a cotton sleepsack I could have purchased one for $20. Also, the pocket for car seat belt is more hassle then benefit, I have found my son couple times awaken and with one leg sticking out of the pocket. Not sure if this could be a safety issue or not, but I just ended up sawing-in the pocket hole by hand. Still he continued propping and pounding his legs against the pocket - quite disturbing when you're trying to put him to sleep. I have never used the travel pocket anyways, I found it to be unnecessary.

5Great even for walking babiesOct 19, 2009
I should have bought this sleepbag earlier for my daughter. She enjoyed being in the sleepbag while she slept, and seems to sleep longer while in it. Even though she was already crawling and standing when I first started using the sleepbag, she wasn't too bothered by the fact that she was in a sleepbag during the night (she was used to crawling around her crib occasionally through the night). We love it!

5the best sleeping sack I've triedMay 31, 2009
My newborn son was notorious for kicking out of all of this blankets, so when a friend let me borrow her kiddopotamus sleeping swaddler I was thrilled. He seemed to do ok with this, although he would often wake up drenched in sweat and continued to wake up about every 2-3 hours. At about 3months old, I invested in the Merino Kids one and we have never looked back. He stays confortable whether it is warm or cool in the house, he has never had the sweats again, and he is sleeping longer at night. We have also used it in the car seat and it is so simple to use (it has holes front and back to thread the straps through.) It is also quite large, so he has time to grow into it. One of the best investments I made for our family.

5Really Happy With This Purchase!Oct 13, 2008
Best sleep sack around. Cheaper ones don't come close to matching the quality stitching and fabric. It might cost more but it's good for all year use and it fits babies up to two years old and can be used for consecutive kids if you're planning to have more. With other sleep sacks your child soon outgrows them, that is if they haven't fallen apart beforehand.
